In Mutti muss nach Lichtenberg – Gentifrication #2 Leien des Alltags deal with gentrification, the defining phenomenon of their childhood and youth. Having all grown up in Prenzlauer Berg, they can be seen as experts on these processes and therefore they demand: If there is going to be gentrification, everybody should have a piece of it! After successfully gentrifying the Ruhr region last summer, Leien des Alltags are returning home to present what they have learned about themselves, about cities, about the whole planet. A historical and culinary research tour overlapping well-known and foreign places and memories.
Founded by Jan Koslowski and Nele Stuhler, the theatre group Leien des Alltags
