Wax changes within a few minutes, melts, drips, flows, burns, cools, dries, and can be modelled, covered, and torn. Laia Ribera Caňénguez and Rafi Martin imprint their family biographies into wax forms: stories about migration and exile, family rituals, gender socialisation and the self-image of the diaspora. A contemporary version of traditional campfires where history and stories are shared.
