Tickets cost 15 EUR regular and 10 EUR reduced.
School classes receive tickets for €6 per student, and one accompanying teacher is admitted free of charge.
Further group discounts available on request.
Tickets purchased in advance will be charged with additional fees by our sales partner »Reservix«.
For reservations either call +49 30 440 39 168 (voicemail) or send an email to karten @ ballhausost.de. Reservations can be picked up at the box office on the day of the performance no later than 15 minutes before the performance begins.
Box office
The box office opens one hour before the performance begins. In case of sold-out performances, a waiting list for remaining tickets will be kept at the box office.
Discounts
Reduced tickets are available to schoolchildren, trainees, students, unemployed, pensioners, BFD- and FSJ-workers, colleagues and artists. Appropriate proof must be presented.
3 Euro tickets for Berlin Pass/Berlin Ticket S holders are available at the box office only (subject to availability).
With Tanzcard the tickets are reduced by 20% (only at the box office).
Disabled persons receive reduced admission and free admission for one accompanying person.
Late admission
There is no entitlement to late admission once the performance has begun.
Bar
The bar on the second floor is open one hour before a show and afterwards.
Accessibility
There is continuous, step-free and level access (incl. kerb ramp) from the street to the building and to the hall with a width of at least 150 cm. The floor surface in the courtyard is slightly uneven.
Most performances take place in the auditorium, which is at ground level.
The hall is entered through a 194 cm wide double door. Then there is a second double door, which has an entrance dimension of 180 cm. The third double door, through which the audience enters the hall, is 136 cm wide. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the first floor of the building. Access to this toilet is via the corridor and is 198 cm wide. The entrance to the toilet is 79 cm wide. There is no elevator.
In good weather the bar is at ground level in the courtyard, in bad weather it can unfortunately only be reached via a staircase on the second floor. This bar is not accessible for wheelchair users. There are 17 steps between the first floor and the second floor.
Barrier-free parking spaces and sanitary facilities are also available. However, the barrier-free parking spaces can only be found in the public space on the roadside. The theater cannot offer its own parking spaces. There is space for wheelchairs or walking frames in the event hall/area and there is the option of reserving specially adapted seats and/or entering the hall early.
Not all events in Ballhaus Ost are barrier-free. We recommend prior inquiry and reservation by mail or telephone. Extreme light and sound effects as well as possibly disturbing content will be pointed out in the announcements of the performances.
How to reach us
The nearest stop is Eberswalder Straße U-Bahn station (line U2), as well as the tram and bus stops (e.g. M1, 12, 50, M13) at Raumerstraße and Eberswalder Straße/Pappelallee. The U-Bahn station has an elevator. It is located at an intersection with heavy car and pedestrian traffic. From there, parts of the route to Ballhaus Ost lead over cobblestone pavement. The entrance to the theater is through the archway in the courtyard of the building at Pappelallee 15.
