What do a monkey mask, a singing saw, and skating have in common? What connects Audre Lorde and John Cage? Who is relatively young, has a big heart, and bones like a bird? And how do you actually organize your books? By size, perhaps? Carlos Franke attempts a very personal classification: not just of books, but of life as a whole.
Carlos Franke acts in plays and plays the singing saw, designs lighting, sound, and special effects, conceives, writes, rehearses, performs, and stands there. After dropping out of his studies in physics, philosophy, and musicology, he now focuses his interest on human and non-human interactions in theater, dance, and elsewhere. He lives in Giessen and is currently completing his studies at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies with the play »Eins-eins-solo«. According to medical reports, he is »relatively young« (2021) and has a big heart.
