We try to translate theater. Into different languages, into images and back into the theater. Together with the performer Khosrou Mahmoudi, who translates novels into Persian in his spare time and wonders how to properly translate “Schwein gehabt”.
With sound artist Sebastian Kunas, who wonders when language becomes music, and with Ahmed Djamali, a translator who talks about his day-to-day work. They ask: Who is our audience, how do they perceive, what do they experience in the theater and how can this be translated?

In recent years, their performative narrative theater has opened up to a wide variety of aesthetic strategies, to visual-atmospheric or body-oriented works. They freely adapt existing material or develop research-based productions on ever new topics.
