The compositions in the programme of the new edition of the successful maulwerker performing music series focus on the responsibilities and freedoms in open processes, the influence of one’s own behaviour on the musical dynamics of the whole and the social processes reflected therein. Such interactive music, which requires the performers to participate in the creation of the works, can only succeed if the participants get involved and truly articulate themselves. The result is not only a collective expression, but also a portrait of the group.

Maulwerker, collective for vocal experiments, integrate elements of performance art, intermedial art and choreography into their music.
