Injured – FLINTA* bodies between functional expectations and medical practice

René*e Reith | Deborah Schöneborn | Rabea Schöneborn | Beate Wagner

60 minutes
park

How do bodies fare when they are particularly challenged in sport or on stage? Protagonists from sport, theater and medicine talk about pain, healing and performance requirements, about belonging and exclusion. Who is allowed to participate, who is overlooked?

The focus is on questions of care and vulnerability, medical practice and social reality – and on bodies between adaptation, resistance and visibility.

Guests René*e Reith (Choreographer, Performer, Dance scholar), Deborah Schöneborn (Long distance runner, Sports physician), Rabea Schöneborn (Long distance runner, Psychologist) Host Beate Wagner (Author, Physician, Journalist - recent publications: »Die weibliche Angst«, »Moritz und Franz Wagner: Glanz in ihren Augen«)
